I know this has been dealth forwards and backwards on other threads both here and other forums, but I think it's time for an own thread in this regard:
When connecting the TViX M-4000 and M-5000 to a Panasonic PT-AE700 projector via DVI, the picture gets shifted and "compressed" when feeding it with 720p/1080i. All other resolutions works fine, and component works just fine too. This is not an isolated issue for me, everyone with a PT-AE700 seems to experience it. I belive this to be a major issue since it's a very common projector that has sold in a very big quantity.
The projector works just fine in it's native resolution 720p from all other devices over DVI, that includes diffrent DVD-players and computers.
It might not be isolated to just this brand/model, could be more too.
What I would like to know is if Dvico is looking at this issue and if it's possible to solve it, or if owners of PT-AE700 should turn to other brands to get full functionality?
I'm hoping that someone from Dvico will read this or if someone could forward this information/issue to them. In the meantime I would like to warn all other owners of PT-AE700 to stay away from these units.
Edit: A picture says more than thousand words, so I uploaded examples to http://picasaweb.google.com/FForward/TViXM40005000720pToPanasonicPTAE700

Tommy
