I've got all my files on a TeraStation 1TB NAS. When I connect the Tvix directly to it, it works perfectly. However, when going via the switch (using the same cables), I can see the NAS and browse, but when I attempt to view a picture/film or play music the thing just grinds to a halt. Note that the same thing happens when I try to source from the PC as well. This occurs using NFS and SAMBA. I can't see how the switch can be causing this unless there's something going on with the built in QoS. I don't know if there is a packet loss issue or the badwidth is dropping off. The switch corretly autoconfigs to 100Mbps for the Tvix and 1000Mbps for the NAS.
Note that my Sonos system and PC can talk to the NAS just fine.
This is driving me nuts as I got this switch to furture proof my system!!
