Real reson for dp1000 problems

From good sources ive heard that the real problem with the dp-1000 and the firmware is a hardware problem!
It sounds unbelieble but it seems that kiss has bougt dvd-drives that are NOT compatible
with the EM85xx chipset!
The toshiba drives use a buffer that can not be used by the drive standard in the dp-1000
Witch causes the error coorection to fail and hang the player!
Now the developers have the task of fixing this by software what is quite hard offcoutse....
hope thet sucseed.....
But it is a big mistake of the kiss salsedepartment buying parts that are simply not compatible with the hardware they are using :(
so 1 call to the tech department would had solved this problem!
Especaly if you know that for kiss it is only one look at the datasheets suppleid the chip to
see that it wouild not work...
And now they are having a bigg mess :-S and a bad prductt.....

Sorry, but we have no info of this and many members using dp-1000 by now without having problems unless the buzzing sound in stand-by!
