hi: i am new here and i have been reading reviews and most of the thread
here, just need to get a few doubts of mine answer.

1. Is the RAM in the CS406 @64 like the CS106? if not what it is then.
2. CS106, since you can only have 1 hd, but it has usb which we can hook up external hd, is the software configured to do auto backup?
3. Can the CS106 be raid? and which raid?

Thanks.

Get the DS-207, new series with double disk (mirror raid and stripe).
Google for info :-) We are looking at one now and works very well. Ok
pricing...

the ds-207 is still the same processing speed and ram as the 106, correct? does synology have a FW that correct the limit the per drive to 750GB?
Thanks

The DS-207 can have 2 750GB drives (and even 1GB I believe). I'm sure
you can find valuable info on their forums as I haven't tested the unit yet. I
believe the processing and ram is increased in the DS-207 but can not say
for sure yet...
