problems with the Ziova audio/video connection

Hi,

I have a problem with the Ziova audio/video connection.

My HiFi components:
Yamaha RX-V1700 AV Receiver
D-Box2 digital cable resiver
TV
Ziova CS 505

All devices are connected with the AV Receiver which switch the Sources (Audio/Video) to the TV. Without the CS 505 everything works fine. If I connect the CS 505 with the AV Receiver (Cinch cable Audio or Video) and the CS 505 has power - the digital TV signal is defective. If I disconnect the power cable (CS 505) or the connection between the the CS 505 and the AV Receiver – the digital TV signal is OK.

I have no idea, what the problem is.

Can only be one thing. If the player is connected it sends a signal to the receiver that switches auto to the Ziova output then. Guess only solution would be powering off the unit and not leave it in stand by or does it happen too if you just connect power?

Maybe should mail Ziova for verification about it.

It happens if just power is connected (Ziova is switched off). So maybe the power supply unit of the Ziova is not working correctly.
It happens too if I connect the Ziova direct with the cable receiver. I only need to connect one line for instance one audio cinch channel.
If I connect any other device with the cable receiver there is no problem.

Try sending a mail to Ziova about it.
They are in better position analyzing this...
