I have seen some reviews with trouble with the subtitles when playing ISO files. Is this problem solved?

How about SRT subtitles?

Thanks,
Joost

You need to be careful about which srt files and subs are supported. From my experience only text and time based subs/srts work.

That means if your srt file is frame based it will not display nor will vobSub that are not text based. For practicality I convert all subs (many ripped from disk using DVDFab) to srt and then tidy them up using submagic.

The conversion does not take long as you will be suprised how little dialog there is in a movie (more per minute in TV shows).

Also be careful as some sub ripping programs may result in a negative time offset. Again this can be easily fixed with submagic.

There are also some issues in the support of sub files in mkv containers in the Beta software. The Netgear forums cover this in depth so if you are having any problems have a look there.
