First players will hit customers home in the last week of August or the first week of September (week 36). Week 34 is this week :-)

That's the latest news i have.
If recorder.dk can deliver them this week i'm happy for their customers.

Seneste nyt om KiSS DP-558:

Efter produktion af de første 480 enheder, som nu har været igennem stress-test mv, er de første papkasser snart at finde ude i butikkerne.

På vejen runder papkasserne dog lige en fabrik herhjemme, hvor de får
den seneste firmware lagt på.

I næste uge (uge 35) sendes den første portion ud til butikkerne, og så vil det ellers foregå løbende over de næste mange uger.

Der er dog så mange eksemplarer i forudbestilling, at det tager lang tid inden alle har fået. Så hvis du ikke er en af de heldige som har haft en bestilling liggende længe, så kan der godt godt noget tid endnu. Men have tålmodighed, der er lys forude

Latest news about KiSS DP -558:

After production of the first 480 units , witch have been through a stress test, the first cases will soon be sent to retailers.

First the players will be sent to Denmark, for firware installation.

Next week ( week 35) the first players will be shipped to shops. Production and firmare installation will continue in the weeks to come

A lot of people have preordered the player, and KiSS will not be able to deliver all the players at once ? and it could take a while before all the preordered players are delivered. So, if you isn't one of the lucky onces with a preorder, it will take a while before you can find the player in shops ? but be patience ? there are light ahed ??

Sorry for my less than perfect English ? but i hope it give some sence.....

Latest news about KiSS DP-558:

After finishing production of the first 480 units, that have been through Stress-testing aso, the first units is soon to be found in the shops.

On its way the units will pass through a factory here (denmark), where they will get the lates firmware installed.

Next week (week 35) the first units will be sent to the stores, and that will continue during the next meny weeks.

As there is a lot of units preordred, it will take a long time before everyone gets theirs.
So if you are not one of the lucky ones that have had an order laying around for a long time, it might take a while before it gets to you.

But have patience, theres light ahead ;-)

The danish website http://www.mm-vision.dk/ has some interesting news today...

"DP558 is produced, and is waiting for installing software over the weekend. They will be shipped end of week 38"

Iflg. ny information fra KiSS, står KiSS DP-558 færdigproduceret på fabrikken og mangler kun software, dette skulle ske over weekenden og de forventer levering i slutningen af næste uge(UGE38). Vi krydser fingrer for at det holder, hold øje med flere nyheder her!

So in two weeks time you can post the first bugs for the 558. Great!
I skip the 558. And wait for the 6xx series with harddisk recorder.
I hope seriously for all you buyers that you will have a lot of joy from the device.. :D and that the delays have made the firmware rock stable.
