CD track titles on front display

Just a thought: Has any of the firmware modifiers thought of the possibility of showing track titles of CD-Audio discs (obtained from CDDB or freedb.org) on the front FTD display of the player? As the player already is capable of both receiving CDDB data (for display on TV screen) and showing alphanumeric characters on the display, things might not be impossible. The Philips Internet-radio also has this function, it would be cool to add it to the Kiss players as well.

We would need a lot of info from KiSS how to use the display and several KiSS models use different displays...

It would be possible, but too much work for the purpose and without KiSS releasing the info one needs for doing this, it is impossible...

Maybe AaronL can have a little info from you.
He created the clock for the display...

I think this could be a possible feature to one of the upcoming firmware versions from K|i|s|s. Afterall, they are making a clock for the lcd display. Maybe after most of the bugs are fixed they could add title names to lcd display as well.

This would certainly make it easier to use ethernet ( audio ) without having to turn on television.
