View Full Version : Llink on ReadyNas NV+
Hi!
Has anyone tried Llink (http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/Llink) on their readynas?
Yes, I have, and it works great! :)
Get the latest radiator 4 fw and add the toggleSSH and the enableRootSSH addons. Then just wget the binary from lundmans page and edit the llink.conf.
Next steps are to get it to run like the other deamons..
... and what's the advantage of this llink over NFS or SMB?
... it allow to play a file directly from the RAR'ed files?
What are the main advantages of this app?
Cheers,
osomim
For me rar was the first reason. Secondly, http support higher bitrates (important for 1080p movies)

what should i do next?
Hi!
The steps are as follows:
1. Get root
2. run wget http://www.lundman.net/ftp/llink/llink-1.9.2-readynas.tar.gz
3. tar xvfs and move contents to /user/local/bin/llink
4. I did a chow -R admin.admin /user/local/bin/llink to change user rights from root to admin (dont know if its needed)
5. To get it to run automatic, check out my post on the infrant forum (http://www.infrant.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15388)
