no sound

I have a Kiss 508 with 2.7.4 firmware. I can play vcd and xvid files no problem. Also DVDs burned with mydvd program. I was give two genuine region2 DVD's for xmas. "The green mile" being one. When I play these the picture is perfect but there is no sound at all. Kiss in connected to TV by scart cable. Anyone any idears?

Hey Lazarus,

Set yous sound to PCM instead of RAW in the setup.
If it is PCM already try RAW for the movies but PCM should work on all of them.

If you have a receiver ( or some other device ) that can decode Dolby Digital or DTS ( whichever audio track you're using on the dvd ), set it on RAW. If your audio comes via tv's own speakers, set it to pcm.
