Sorry for this question, as it might be obvious, however I could not find the answer. Can someone please tell me how to add a custom audio stream (MPEG) to Webradio? The manual talks about going to webradio.kiss-technology.com, however this page only allows me to download firmware. I also did not have to go trough the registration process described in the manual to be able to access the pre-programmed radio streams on the player either.

Furthermore, is it possible to mark certain streams as favorites, eliminating the need to browse trough categories and subcategories again and again to select a stream?

Finally, the screen on the Kiss does only display the name of the station, not the currently playing track. Is this in any way possible (my Philips Streamium can do it)?

Thanks.

Hi Jorg...

Webradio is "dead" for now.
Here's a post about it.

Thanks. I noticed that post, as I started it myself! :o

So adding custom MPEG streams not selected by Kiss is out of the question?

No, you just need to create a workaround yourself like a KML page pointing to the address of the webstream and point your KiSS to the KML page.
You might want to try FcLage, he created something like that for ezlink pro.
Something in the style of Zorglub's weather, except you be pointing to webstreams...

Hi-Jack,

What exactly is it then that FCLage has made for this? I can assume he might add some "KML server function" to EZ-Link, but then the Kiss firmware still has to refer to this page on ones local network.

EzLink uses it's own KML server.
Whatever you add in EzLink is available on KiSS.

(Like custom webradio)

As i said...
Best talk to FcLage about this.
I never fooled around with the KML server yet... :-)
(so much to do...)
