MP3 problems with new firmware (2.8.0) for DP 508

Updated Frimware has messed up my DP508 MP3 playing capabilitys :(

Can anybody advise me, I upgraded my firmware to 2.8.0 and it now plays mp3 files with fragmented pauses from my pc, and won't even play them when downloaded to the hard drive?

Got the streaming working now (problem with network card set to full duplex instead of half.

Still can't get mp3 files to download onto disk and play.

Hey Nick...
Copying them to the HDD drive might corrupt the files.
This is being fixed...

What you can do is burn some files to a disk and play them from there from now or just keep streaming.

I installed ez-link and it works well.

Just suffering the problems with playback with the new FW now... I hope a fix comes soon! :wink:

I have an Dp 500, with 2.8.0 i got dopouts with mp3s. You cannot use the mp3 feature anymore. Does anybody know a person who could fix the bug. Kiss will only produce a other one.

Drop-outs on network conncetion is know on the DP-500, even with 2.8.0.
I think you are using PC-Link software too right?

Try using EzLink.
It works better... and see if drop-outs still occure.
