Hi guys,

Has anybody had the same problems as I had:

1. In Belgium we have different channels on 1 Tv channel and they are broadcasted during certain time periods on the same channel. for example Discovery channel plays from 12 to 19 and vijftv plays from 19 to 01. I noticed that only one ID can be given per channel, while discovery and vijftv are separate items in the ID tagging setup. Does anyone have a solution to the problem?

2. I can't delete the files recorded on the DP558 HDD. I can only reformat it to empty it.

3. When rearranging the channels to represent the same order as my tv, the DP558 starts flipping after a while. No channel is shown anymore and the screen goes pinkish, only the sound can still be heard.

If you guys have a solution to the problem (I'm currently using FW 1.05) or have had the same problems please inform.

Thx,

shoe

if there is no special epg-id for this multi-channel you have to choose either discovery or vijftv.

first select the file(s) with the mark-button on your remote, then delete with trash-button.

this problem is known and confirmed by different users but not yet listed in the bug list.

Hi,

Also living in Belgium and having the same problem as you mention with the different channels on 1 tv channel. I can imagine that a solution to this problem is not so easy because different cable compagnies in Belgium mix different channels on different times. A few weeks ago mixt-ics had us re-program 17 channels on all tv's and vcr's to free bandwith for 'future' applications (read: things you will possibly have to pay for) and still they have to use such tricks for the man in the street. Buy possibly this discussion is beyond the scope of this forum. Still, the problem remains...

Greetings,
Freddy
