You wanna record a DVD or CD with your DP-558?

As far as I know, the DP-558 has NO DVD-Writer built-in. You can transfer your recorded files to your PC and burn it with your favorite programs (i.e. Nero).

Hi,

This should not be to difficult with Nero.
Add the VOB files and the IDX files to the Video_TS folder when creating a DVD with Nero and burn.

That should work.
I will make a small tutorial during the week...

I don't know if all dvd players will like bigger VOB files then 1.99 GB so
better chop them up in smaller chunks if you are talking about big files...

but i ment to record a dvd from the 558 dvd player to the 558 hd.....

Now i think about it..........this is not very usefull.........pc is a better tool for that

Yes, and the KiSS can't record DVD to HDD :-)
On some forums we have seen people report it can be done but it can't!!!
