Since we had to contact DviCo recently because of rumors stating DviCo TViX V3 units being available (which is untrue by the way as the units are
and will remain the same V2 as everyone should have), we asked DviCo for
the plans in 2009.
DvIco has no plans for bringing new products at least in Q1 of 2009 and will
remain developing it's software for the current models and likely the
M-5100/4100 players. We not like to make any firm statements on
that one any longer although we will keep asking...
In contrast with other vendors, it has been unofficially announced end of Q1
2009 the first new generation players should start spreading build around a
more powerfull SMP8644 or higher processing unit with abilities to support
Blu-Ray...
Let's wait and see what 2009 will bring after Q1...
