Warning Notice:
Make sure you only use this on the proper Drive.
1. First you need to download and install this firmware
(2.7.4 at the moment).
Flashing with 2.8.0 is not possible. You need to use 2.7.4 firmware, flash it and then update to 2.8.0.
2. Check that your drive is the correct drive!
This is shown in the hidden menu: Open ? Clear ? 2 ? 6 ? 7.

This check is important since some newer DP-450 are being shipped with the 1812 Toshiba drive!!
3. IF you have any other drive, then the one listed above,
do not use this firmware. It will not only destroy your drive but also,
KiSS will refuse to repair it.
4. If you have one of the drives listed above,
then download this file:
http://www.mpcclub.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=27
and create a cd from it.
(Nero burning Rom, Disc At Once, Closed Session)
5. Put this CD in the player, power on and follow the guidelines on screen.
6. After the update is finished, Powercycle your player
(Shut it down, wait 5 seconds and turn it on again), and then
enter the hidden menu again (Open ? Clear ? 2 ? 6 ? 7).
Now you can select your region.
To support all regions, select "All" in the menu.
Please be aware that KiSS does not support any Cracked
drives (Region free drives) . If for any reason your
player has to go back to kiss for repair, reflash the
firmware to it's original version which can be found here:
