Why do I have 3 strips next to my clock?

Does any one know why I have 3 strips next to my clock in the display?
Every thing is working I mean almost everything but you what I mean.

three dashes are shown when the player is in standby. Press the green ON button to turn it on and start using it (watching tv, recording, etc).

I have asked Kiss to replace the bars with a number, and the number should be the number of scheduled recordings
