I have the HDX-1000 for a year I think and still very happy. I have three questions:
1- is there already an option or software available so that WHILE playing a MP3, I can scroll through my music files and add files to a playlist? Just like the XBOX360 does and other players? I heard a couple of months about some jukebox software but this stopped playing as well when you left the playing-screen.
2- I have all my music and pictures on my Windows Server and copied them to my HDX. When I now add new files to my Windows server, how do I sync the new files with my HDX? Is there any software for it?
3- Just when the HDX was release, I heard some stories that the HDX sometimes did not wake up from standby mode. I would like to use my HDX as a NAS and leave it on for 24/7. Is this possible or don't you recommend it?

Oh one other question:
4- Where can I find additional software for the HDX, like this jukebox software? Where do I Google on?

Thnx!

Olaf

1 question: use better titles :-)

1 - no but is listed as a future enhancement
2 - Allwaysync (free) can sync two directories
3 - not recommended, too weak for NAS use
4 - What jukebox software?

Thanks guys. I will have a look at the Jukebox mentioned on that URL. As far as I could see, that fast, it has playlists in it, but I can't see whether I can walk through my files while the music keeps on playing.

Hmmm.... I dunno if this program is correct: it states "Windows application to generate a music menu. Supports album art and music genres." So in the end it only makes a playlist file (and not a jukebox application). Winamp and even Windows Mediaplayer generate playlists as well?

I use for file synchronization the program Total Commander (ghisler.com). It has a function for directoy/disk synchronization...
