hdx-1000 hdmi out always on ????

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to turn off the hdmi when the hdx-1000 is in syandby mode ....??
My bluray turns it hdmi off when off ....
I have a hdmi switch for the two players and it automacticly `follows` the players ... when they go on it goes on ... off it goes off ... you see .... Only now the hdx-1000 hdmi out doesn`t go off when in standby ..... so my switch always stays on and doesn`t automacticly switch to the bluray because it `thinks`the hdx is still on ... hence my problem .. 8O

Not possible. Parts of the player remain powered and even though there is no real signal sent, somehow it remains active still. A lot of players have this including all NMT's (except the ones with real power off), TViX and then some...

strange you say this ..........
Because I also emailed the guys at hdx and they said ;
Dear Ronald,
The player would shut-down its video DAC (hdmi) when in stand-by mode. It could due to incompatible with your HDMI switch.
Now that`s something completely different, and also something that doen`t help me :evil:

Well have work around this little problem .......
