tvix compatible with Dlink DWA 160?

Hi all,

just bought a dlink-855 router..thinking of moving my tvix 7000a into another room. will the DWA 160 usb adaptor wireless n be suitable for use with tvix 7000a? how does one exactly choose to use the 5Ghz band instead of the 2.4 one? thanks in advance.

Look at this thread http://www.mpcclub.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=22020 where Coolstream is listing the fixes etc that the latest firmware deals with.

Under the bit entitled 'other' I think it only mentions the DWA 140 and lower so I could be sure on wether it would or wouldnt but it may give you an idea.

Yep i did read up on that before posting my question..thanks again! =) so no one else has tried using a DWA-160 with tvix? =( i might go with DWA-140 then...what a waste of my dual-band....
