Hello all, long time no seeing.

How do you do a fresh install of HDD. Can it be done from cd?
Or do I have do it from a Linux computer?

Second.

Is there a cheap successor to kiss dp-558?
Dont need recording from TV but I want net-capabilities
Perhaps being able to play streaming from the internet
Regular DVD no Blueray is nescessary. DivX of course.

Any suggestions

Check A.C.Ryan, Xtreamer, WDTV2, eGreat EG-M34A, Elektron EHP-700, PCH A-110, Ellion HMR-600, TViX 6500, CFULLHDMAi, HDX-1000, HDI BD Prime and then a whole list of others....

For recording (DVB-T or Analog) check A.C.Ryan and Conceptronic or Ellion products... ANd then keep visiting us regularly so you not end up behind too much... You missed about 25 products int he mean time :-)

For reinstall HDD? I believe it is formatted if powered on without the hard drive having partitions on it... Reinstall firmware should allow this too... It's been ages since i played around with it...
