Sorting more than 99 files in a folder...

Hi,

I have a folder with 109 JPG's numbered from 1 to 109. I want a slide show that follow the sequence 1 to 109. The problem is that TViX plays JPG number 101 (...102, 103,...) after JPG number 10. And after JPG 109 it plays JPG 11.

The last one JPG should be 109 instead of 99.

Any hint how to workaround this?

I think you must number them like PIC001.JPG PIC002.JPG... PIC101.JPG and so on.

/GoranYes, leading zeroes is the answer. I use a silmilar system for Audio folders where digits can appear at the start of the "Artist" field and the folders are arranged by Artist - as follows.

01 IP RADIO Links (contains list of URL's to Shoutcast channels etc)
02 PODCASTS (contains podcast mp3's)
10,000 Maniacs........
ABBA
Aerosmith
Bob Dylan
etc...

This puts access to the radio and podcast links at the beginning of your music folders. If the leading zero is omitted it becomes:

1 IP RADIO
10,000 Maniacs.....
2 PODCASTS
ABBA
Aerosmith
Bob Dylan
etc...

Further to Sailor's post, you can also use most other symbols to begin the foldername, e.g.

I think it stands out more and looks neater.
