558 and digital tv decoder

Hello,
I live in holland and I'm planning to get a digital TV decoder (xs4all/kpn)
Does anyone have experience with this ?
Is it possible ?
How's the quality ?

DP-558 not good for DTV decoders , SAT and cable boxes and such for two reasons :

1. No timed or EPG recording from SCART .
(this rumored to be added in next firmware but so far it's absent).

2. No way to change channel on external box , so even after 1 is fixed you will have either to change them manually or some boxes allow to program them to change the channel to speciffic program that better but still not too convinient .

Of cause, as workaround for 1 you can use box with RF output but what's the point of getting digital tuner ? - quality will be the same as with good strong analogue signal .

Prefer a DreamBox to record digital stream... best quality, HDD allowed... and many features...
