<img height="73" src="http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/images/newspic/dp600.gif" width="300" align="left" border="0" /> It's a fact now, after we confirmed through several resources, the DP-600 is going to launch on 5 Feb 2006. Despite the launch, high volumes will not be available from the starting point to serve all interested customers and on top there's a huge backlog in Pre-Orders which will be served first according to Intel we got. This backlog has been growing due to the delays made as more and more people ordered it during the time it was unavailable. This would mean that only a limited amount of customers will soon have the DP-600 under their TV (too late for "under the Christmas Tree). So, despite the release coming up in just a few days, for some, it might still take a considerable wile to get one.<br /><strong>Click on Read More for more info!</strong><br><div>It is expected that KISS will need a couple months to satisfy the demand on the KISS DP-600 model before customers can pick one off the shelfs at any store so hopefully, amongst the pre-orders there are many shops that leaves customers a change to find one before it's a couple months old. It's the fun of anything you buy, to be one of the first but that advantage seem to be offered to only some who actually have ordered first.</div><br /><div>In a press release early January, KiSS announced the DP-600 to become available in the end of Q1 2006 and now confirms it will be ready sooner as planned. That's a nice change. Further the article described KISS being proud being one of the first to bring WMV9 support while it's merely actually one of the last due to the delays but it's a marketing method to remain positive all the way. We definately are looking forward to a sample for review, but also there, things might still go wrong due to limited amount of players available. We expect to have more info before the end of this week and will let you know.</div><br /><span class="normal"><div>"We are proud to be among the first in Europe to announce support for Windows Media 9 Series.
