<div><img height="38" src="http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/images/newspic/z500.gif" width="300" align="left" border="0" />After only a few days ago we announced Beta3 being available, the beta 4 FW is to be released today and is believed to be the last hurdle into releasing a new Public release if no major issues are reported during the next few days. That said, Zensonic revealed us in a conversation made this morning at 6am (ouch), the Road map for future updates and plans about Zensonic Z500 and good as we are, we immediately release the info towards you.<br /><strong>Click on "Read More" for the full article!</strong></div><br><div>The Road Map has some nice little twists which will please many of us. First of all, Zensonic plans on releasing the parts of GPL code during next week. Note that Zensonic will not deliver support on this code at all and the user is the sole responsible of what he/she does with the code This is merely a good value for developers that might do some nifty things with it but let me remind you, this code does not mean the FW is Open Source or everything we need will be available. Just so you don't get your hopes up too high.</div><br /><div><strong>The FW Updates Road Map!</strong><br />Well, it covers current plans only as making predictions for a long period is bound to go wrong so... As said Beta4 stage will be released today and if all goes well, later this week / early next week, the final Public release should be available. The change list of beta 4 will be released in the Zensonic forums as soon as it becomes available. In the next 2 weeks following the final release expected in a couple days, Zensonic will concentrate on the HDMI issues and some Sound issues for which fixes shall be available in a new beta Release half February, including some other small fixes. Thx to the dedicated test teams working on the Zensonic Forums, good progress is made.</div><br /><div>That's all we have for now and keep we'll keep you posted.</div><br /><BR>
