make network share on dp558

Would'nt it be nice if you can make a network share on your dp558.
In stead of moving files by ftp or http you can share your folders on the dp558 to your network.

I recon this can be done by using telnet.
Has anyone experience in making shared folders by using telnet?

I will try to look it up and experiment with it.

It would be a nice feature. Guess it should be possible to run some kind of samba server on the DP-558 but remember, resources are limited.

There is some efford being made to make DP-558 harddisk access a lot easier (KISS HTTP support, working FTP, etc).
