It's finally come to the availability of the Rapsody N35 Media Player that incorporates a stylish design and it promises to avoid many limitations according to the specifications against many competing for a place in your living room. Rapsody, mainly known for the their HDD based Media Players like RSH-100 and RSH-300, now releases a model that is different and yet, the same. Building further upon experience, the N35 can be fitted with an Internal Hard Drive up to 500GB which can hold quit some content to be available directly. Beside the internal HDD, also NAS Servers and PC should integrate nicely along with the cool ShareDisk expansion options you have considering the N35 does support NDAS. On paper it looks like a hell of a player with a long list of advantages against the competition and we'll find out, if the theory matches reality soon. Click on "Read More" for the full article!

(Picture: Storage Solution from Coworld that incorporates nicely with Stereo Rack in Living Room) The N35 differs in design by using a black boxed design with "Contact Controls" in front. Along with NDAS features, it also incorporates 2 USB connections which can be used to add a DVD, HDD or other USB devices for direct use on the unit while the designers done every effort to keep things simple, with Auto HDD Drive Setup (internal) and "Direct Play" functions, that have no need for PC or Software for streaming media files from Storage Devices. Rather this only functions with NDAS or also SMB and NetShare will be looked at in the review coming up end of next week. Being a HD Media Player, the N35 can handle 480p, 720p and 1080i.

NDAS certainly does not get the attention yet that it should get for facilitating Network Attached Storage and speeding it up, especially since more and more products are incorporating it into their devices. NDAS is basically the most simple NAS, the cheapest storage solution (compared to price and speed) and the fastest available while at the same time, it can be acquired in many different flavors and designs of which at least one will perfectly fit your Multimedia Setup. Have a look yourself at Coworld below... I love it for my Video Works (fast) and use it for working with the N35 and several other models incorporating NDAS to serve data directly over USB and / or Network. Great stuff and now the N35 is also available, it can only get better (right?)! We'll know in a week from now...

More Information: http://www.coworldcs.com/product/soho/N351_en.php
ShareDisk Solutions: http://www.coworldcs.com/product/soho/main_en.php (Great stuff)

Enjoy
Hi-Jack
