Can this player put out 23,976 Hz or is the 1080/24 setting something what causes the known jitter effect every appr. 30 sec. ?

I'm afraid not. 24p auto frame rate detection and it's chain of alternatives is still stuff missing from the Realtek players so far... I'm not following every update but have not see it fly buy so far...

Yes, missing 23.976 Hz playback causes the jitter every 40 seconds.

I know, but maybe I was writing it unclear. My question was if the setting I saw at the OSD in the review of this player (1080/24) includes something like the framerate sync on NMT, but according to Hi-Jacks reply it doesn't.

It does have automatic 24p framerate sync, but it only works with .MP4 and .AVI files at the moment.
