hi

im daniel from switzerland. my english is not the best, i hope you will understand it.
i have a iobox100hd with a 1tb hdd inside. it work perfectli as a stand alone player. now i will connect it by network. (i have the plan to trandfer some files from a windows xp pc to the iobox, and play files from a network hdd)

im not a network specialist (more a net-idiot ... lol). so i have the question:
how do i connect the box, and what settings do i have to make???

You connect the ioBox in the same way as you would connect a PC... After that, you enter the network shares and configure what network folders you want to us. This will need settings on both the player and the PC / NAS you will use.

I would not recommend transfering files over network. Connect the ioBox to the PC using USB. Help: http://www.mpcclub.com/faq/questions/201/NMT+Hard+Drive+lesson!+Read+this!!

You will need to try and get it done and when fail, come with specific questions.

The NMT Wiki provides detailed instructions on configuring your NMT. There are articles for both streaming from a NAS or PC, and also for connecting to your ioBox's installed hard drive.
