Let's say I have three hard drives, 2 connected by eSata, 1 by USB. All three drives hold music. The collection is split amongst the three drives due to space constraints. Drive 1 holds files starting with A-H, drive 2 holds I-P, and drive 3 holds Q-Z.
When I view the files using TViX NetShare I want it to see all three drives as one folder/one share, basically merging all the contents. There wouldn't be any folder name collisions considering each drive is responsible for a specific alphabet range.
Now, I know that the NetShare isn't sophisticated enough to do this, so I'm looking for a way to somehow trick NetShare into thinking this is one folder. I thought about using junctions, but NetShare would end up seeing three different folders within one share. I want it to see one folder with all the folders in all three drives flattened?
Is this possible?
