I have bought the DP-500 and I´m pleased with it. Only I just wondered if anybody know if it would be possible to change to wireless network ?

I know Kiss will release new players with wireless network but I still think it would be worth it if you also could change the hardware.

Off course it wil damage the warranty of the dp-500, but still ....

Thx

You need a wireless bridge (a device that talks rj45 in one side and wifi in the other)
For example: http://www.linksys.com/Products/product.asp?grid=22&prid=432

Well I run a device just like that and it works fine. Here's the catch.... and it's not really posted--Linksys has TWO versions of that WET11 bridge device... I know someone that got the version 2 and it did not work. I have a version1. I have NO IDEA how to tell them apart from Linksys... if you find out, post it here or email me! I'd love to know.... My version1 works fine... I run a DP-500 with AAronL NTSC firmware 2.7.4 with this linksys bridge version1 and it works fine. Mpeg2 will be jerky--the bitrate is high--but mepg1 and divx seems to play fine for me. Remember 802.11b only really does about 700-1100kbps and 700kbps is more typical and I run a Cisco 350 Access point which has very high throughput capability for 802.11b.
