All i could find so far, my chinese is not what it used to be ( LOL ) so can't translate it for you all.

Looks like the exact same funtions as the dune HD Base 3.0.
Only the user interface & build are different.
Functionality can't be that different.

Seems like a nice GUI (i do not like the usual NMT interfaces, be much more addicted to TViX style) and it has SIGMA 8650, FWIW.

WOW I like the display and external looks of this thing. It even comes with a back-lid remote. Looks really professional.

Think i found it, we are both right in this case :)
目前第一款HDP-X1 使用SMP8635 LF 晶片，硬體部分已開發完成90%，軟體部份進度大約為60%..原本打算完成度90%以上再來辦體驗會的; 不過年底到了，大家也都知道我又要忙著拍攝101煙火了...所以把體驗會時間提早了，也該讓這部已經醞釀 一年多的播放機，跟這麼關心的精研兄弟見見面。
同時間，我心目中最理想的HDP-X1SE 版也同時繼續開發的工作，使用的是SMP8650Series晶片..一些設計的細節，我會在體驗會跟大家 聊，預計在農曆年前就可以正式面世了!

Looks like the HDP-X1 model will be based on the SMP8635.
And lthe HDP-X1SE will use the SMP8650 version.

Don't really know what the difference is between these 2 tho.

Also i stand corrected for the unit being like the dune Base.
It's more of a PCH-C200, since both on the left and right side of the VFD there are front accesable dirve bays for HDD & BR player

SMP8635 is the chipset popcorn hour A110 uses.

SMP8650 look promising however, although no bluray support according to the Sigma website. :(

CineClub will release new model that use 8655 & 8643 in future, new model will sale in europe.

BTW, designer of HDP-X1 is a director that film Taipei 101 fireworks
