There`s a lot of advertising for this device on dutch tv lately.
http://tweakers.net/reviews/1476/dutchtronics-pcontv-nieuwe-kijk-op-tv-kijken.html

It is based on a sigma 8635 chipset.

I don`t completely understand the purpose of this device.
It has a homeplug connection, wireless keyboard and mouse.
Is it a mediaplayer or an windows media extender?
I don`t know but maybe there`s someone with experience with this device.

It seems it can do a little bit of both. Here, http://www.stylecowboys.nl/Multimedia/350, you can find a review in Dutch. You can either show your PCs desktop (some sort of remote desktop in Windows??) or stream media (photo, video, music).

I think it is overpriced (349 euro). For that money you can buy a decent media player. However, if you like the fact that you can display your PCs desktop on your TV it maybe worth the try. Altough, according to the review, displaying you tube movies results in a lot of stuttering.

I think one of the benefits of a mediaplayer is that my windows pc doesn`t have to run all time anymore.
This device wants me to install a mediaplayer and still run my pc all the time.

Well, at least it is something different than all those new mediaplayers we see lately.

They dropped the price to 249 euro

If they can manage a good firmware this might become interesting.
