I was trying to find some information about SunExt and/or the Ethernet port on the Dune and came across this place. Check out all these network media player's. That's it, going to live in China!!

Pretty sure it won't support Blu-Ray on 1073 chip... RTK has not even HD Audio under control so let alone full Blu-ray support... It also states "support Blu-ray DVD" so probably an escape to state BD is supported by way of playing "m2ts" files and maybe load subs and audio... but what about HD Audio which is not supported by SDK yet...?

I neither like this system of calling upon interest... (means no own R&D and marketing) I would guess this is RTK based on default RTK by a hardware creator and nothing else... but I can be wrong off course...
They can send one if they like :-)
We don't go after mainly Chinese mainland stuff unless there's a brand behind it that we can actually work with...

The brand of the player I mentioned is B-Link, FWIW, and pretty much of any electronic device is manufactured in China mainland anyway. Therefore I would be more interested in what in fact is delivered than where it comes from.
However, no doubt about that, seeing is believing.

So all this babbling about HD Audio pass-thru is only wishfull thinking too.

Isn't the 1073 chip capable or is it just licensing trouble?

What I read on the Mede8er-forum about support for BD-Iso is just keeping customers on the leash?
