View Full Version : [BUG] Won't load new images ... memory full?

I just finished my media library (see this link (http://picasaweb.google.com/moviefreak2000/DuneBDPrime30?feat=directlink)) which has a lot of images for the icon views. To check everything I browsed a few folders of my library, but after some time the Dune won't load any new images. After that i rebooted the Dune and counted the images he loads. Here are the results:

9x Series Banner (each 758x140 pixel)
4x Season Cover (each 400x578 pixel)
154x Episode Details (each 1480x330 pixel)

I don't know how these images are cached in memory. If they are cached as 32bit uncompressed pixels I get the following memory usage:

3 820 320 Bytes = 3.64334106 Megabytes
3 699 200 Bytes = 3.52783203 Megabytes
300 854 400 Bytes = 286.917114 Megabytes

This is a total of about 294MB of memory. I'm not sure how much memory the Prime 3.0 has but I think this should be kind of the limit for the image cache. I think the cache needs to be a bit smater and delete the first viewed images when the limit is reached rather than not loading new images any more :roll:
