DPP-558 Replacement -> Verbatim MediaStation HD DVR-netwerkrecorder?

Hi guys,

Since my kiss DP-558 had the PSU-problem it never completely recovered. Since some time now it act's randomly. DVD drawer open en shuts without any user interaction, fast-forward or even stop in the middle of a movie.

So I'm looking for a replacement after a long search i found a player at Verbatim but there's very little info to find about it on the net. Does anyoen have expirience on this player or see some pitfalls.

I just want to be able to record analogue video, DVB-C would be nice but is not required. Of course it has to have an Ethernet interface and must play as many formats as possible. EPG is also required.

I can't give you any input about the MediaStation, sorry.
Just wanna let you know, that I'm in the exactly same situation .-) Still waiting for THE successor of the DP-558, including recording - not "only" playing - media content.
