I ordered an Xtreamer eTRAYZ on 2 November 2009 not really knowing the product at the time but willingly to try because I liked the design and "promised" features.

However on 28 November I cancelled the order since I did not have any faith this product would fullfill my needs.

Untill today I still am waiting for the credit on my PayPal account..

Xtreamers policy:

(4) The refund process will take up to 7 working days once you request a refund and cancellation of your order.

Their reaction after canceling:

Xtreamer.net Shop Said:

we have cancelled your order upon your request ,and we will refund your account within 7 days .

please note:
In case you request canceling the order before shipment we will have to deduct from your refund the payment we paid to the payment-gateway - They charge us the fees of 10 euro per unit and this sum will be deducted in case of cancellation.

On 29 December:

Xtreamer.net Shop Said:

We will issue a refund with no doubt currently we have technical issues therefore we cannot issue refunds at this moment.
Please allow us few more days.
As soon this problem will be fixed we will refund your account immediately and note you ASAP regard your refund.
We appreciate your patience.

After several messages about this refund the last message is from 17-01-2010:

What can I do to get my money back? This is rediculous.

I'm almost exactly in your same situation, I only ordered and cancelled the Etrayz.

I've gone through exactly the same answers from Xtreamer sales department as you, those are the ones I received after:

Dec 15th:
Xtreamer.net Shop Said:

Dear valued customer ,

Your account will refunded with no doubt ,
We are having a technical issues at this moment and we cannot initiate refunds right now.
Please allow us few more days to sort this issue out and we will note you once we will refund your account .

Dec 24th:

I sent them two additional messages on January the 18th and february the 7th for which I have received no answer yet.

I fear this company is in big finantial trouble, otherwise the only explanation is that they are openly dishonest.

This sounds all to familiar, I am in exactly the same situation. Paypal will only cover you for disputes for the first 30 days. As mine was ultimately paid for with my visa card I have asked them to pursue a refund. Visa cover for up to 90 days.

However it seem to be a long drawn out affair as it could take 30 to 90 days.:|

The company do not seem to respond to questions and never meet their promises.

If they do not refund I will pursue them in the European Small Claims Court, that is your ultimate option.
The company do not respond to my messages anymore. Dispicable! It seems the only option to us will be legal action.
I do not care how great and how cheap a product is, if the company are like xtreamer there is absolutely no excuse to treat customers the way they do.

Well I have got visa involved and they refunded which in turn got Paypal to raise a dispute with xtreamer. Seems that Paypal when they are in a position to loose out seem to be able to react after the 30 day timeframe they set!
Xtreamer now have to respond within 10 days, fat chance!

Anyone else making progress?

I am in the same situation cancelled order of etrayz after 2 months of silence, they "agreed" with the refund but still no money on the paypal account. Telling me they are having difficulties with their paypal account. But now they aren't responding anymore to any messages.

Had exactly the same, I think you will be waiting for a long time. Hopefully Paypal will resolve the refund.

Just to let everyone know, I was not prepared for it, but one minute ago I received some e-mails and noticed a full refund from Xtreamer.

Well stone the crows! Today after almost 3 months I received a refund. I can only conclude spring has arrived in Taiwan and the xtreamer staff have come out of hibernation!

I received a FULL refund as well on march the 18th.
A pity it came 3 months and a half too late.
If only those guys hired professionals for their PR...
Anyway, as from now I'll look elsewhere for media players and such, as they say, 'Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me'.
