the dvds have freezes
the (s)vcds have freezes
the divx cds make nothing (not even one picture :( )

does anyone else have this problem?
or does anyone know help?

will the 2.8.1 bring a solution???

yes, it has already been posted in this forum!
280 isn´t good for 508 but the 500er Rel 280 is very good!!
i also had a problem with ezlink on 580 280 fw, where the playlist for audio wasn´t shown!!
but the freezeings and pic failures seem to be typicla for the 280 on 508!!

i hope there is a solution on 2.8.1!

maybe i should flash the 2.8.1 for the 500....

i don't know.... *grrr* or should i live with the 2.7.4 on a 508????
i hate such decisions!!!!!!

Hey smax...

Little error... 2.8.1?
The update is being developed but with CES we din't know when it comes.

If you want to use the disk, stick with 2.7.4 FTP firmware
If you don't care about the disk right now, 2.8.0 for dp-500 would be the best choice.

the disk and the webradio (which only works on 2.8.0) ;)

Nah...

That's a standard wish for all dp-508 users.
We just had bad luck with the release while others had luck.

We will follow soon... 8)
