Can IOBOX play M2ts file with DTS-MA?

Hi All,

Would like to seek your kind advise. My setup cannot play m2ts file with DTS-MA. My setup as follow: For video, My IOBOX hdmi direct to my plasma while for sound, i toslink from my IOBOX to my amplifier Yamaha RXV657. WHats the reason for non-playable file? My amplifier or IOBOX? Thanks for your help.

Check your ioBox 100HD setup configuration for Audio. The ioBox should be enabled to extract the core DTS to passthrough via Toslink to your AV amplifier to decode. It works for DTS-HD but then again, this box is pretty outdated.

If you connected a Iobox with HDMI direct to the TV. It will not have a sound come out. I hook a Iobox HDMI to the Onkyo receiver then from Onkyo to the TV or Projector, make sure your receiver is latest receiver and handle all the sounds like DTS-MA or True-HD, my is working fine with all sounds. Hopefully it will help you.
