When I connect my 100HD to the TV with 720P resolution, I don't get any sound in the HDMI connection. I already went to the setting and enable audio in HDMI. The TV is HDMI connection is working fine because I am able to get picture and sound with the same connection when connect to my HTPC.

Both boxes are playing ISO of a DVD.

Your audio output capabilities may be related to your firmware version.

Some audio options have been changed in recent releases.

It will help if you mention the firmware version you are using on the ioBox. It is likely that your TV is not capable of decoding the audio track of the video you are playing. The latest firmware available for ioBox is best used with an AV amp to decode DTS and Dolby Digital audio.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using the Firmware version 091202 which is the latest firmware available on their webpage.

The latest firmware is capable of decoding DD but not DTS. Best to use an AV amp. What type of audio track do you have?

It is just a regular music DVD rip, with Left+Right+Sub only.

Ahh no wonder you can't get it to work! You need to be more specific on the file type and codecs used in your "regular musid DVD rip".

Let me see, music video DVD is in MPEG-2 format. Ripped out to ISO file format but has all the menu and structure of the normal DVD. So it is the same thing as you stick a DVD video into the player.

AnyDVD and DVDShrink to rip the file out without the actual shrink. I also tried UltraISO and do the full DVD image of the disc and still have the same problem.

You are not the only one having problems with ISO files from DVD with the latest firmware. Perhaps the older firmware will work better for you.
