I own a PopcornHour C-200 and I am quite happy with it as it does what it is supposed to.
I handed over my Popcorn A-110 to my girlfriend and I enjoy watching films with her. Usually I prepare the film at home with Yamj and Yanfoe (background fanart, movie cover, description) and then copy the directory with the film-rip, images and nfo-file to her A-110 - so except for updating the indexfile via Yamj one more time (which does not take long) I do not have much work.
So basically my girlfriend does not use any folders but sees the movie-covers and choses the film she wants to see (I do the background work to prepare the cover-art via Yamj).
I am thinking about "updating" her player. As she is not really fond of technical stuff (and after seeing that she is not really doing well with the User-Interface of my C-200) I am thinking about getting her a Dune (most probably Prime so she will have A HDD and BluRay).
As I learned it is not possible to use the files from Yamj with Dune. (due to lack of browserengine)
Would I have to reimport all the information again? Is there a way/what is the best way to use the existing information (background fanart, movie cover, description in the nfo-file) on a Dune?
From what I read there are similar programs like Yamj available for Dune, too. I have no idea how they work exactly but from what I read there are programs for that (mymovie, yadis, .... I guess they do the same).
So my question is whether it is possible to use the existing data, what I need to do to use the data with as little work as possible showing a similar result as I get with Yamj (overview of films using their covers).
For me this question is crucial as I do not want to have much more work when using 2 different machines (PCH C-200 and HDI Dune). If it would be much more work then I would either stick with the current solution or upgrade to a second C-200 or A-200.
