QNAP is not bothered by the hot weather (because they are not in Europe :-) ) and achieved to release quite a substantial update today for the TurboNAS series of storage devices. With this update QNAP reaches V3.3 on the version ticker and loads of goodies are included. We leave the analysis of the change list up to you. Seems like a great update to me for the ever improving QNAP products...

- Multimedia Station 2 with iPhone/iPod Touch (QMobile) support
- Support HFS+ file system read & write on external drives
- ISO mount (for both Web File Manager & NAS Web Administration)
- Virtual host for web server
- Zend optimizer
- Buzzer control
- Surveillance Station supports the following new IP cameras:

[Known Issues]
- (Surveillence Station) Y-CAM Generic V2 will be disconnected if selecting channel in Live View page.

users are experiencing issue when connecting their v3.3 nas to the tvix 6500/popcorn 110 on the qnap forums

Just updated my 439 Pro to new FW.

Haven't had time to fiddle around that much, but i do notice that FTP transfer speeds are much more stable than they were before.

Currently flatlining at 31mbps where i used to have dips and peaks.

One annoying thing tho is that the webinterface keeps nagging me that it can't resolve the DNS server.

Do you need to back-up everythink ( lan settings ........) and the data ?

Or is everythink oke when you have install V3.3

A backup is alsway's recommended !!
I have installed the new firmware version 3.3 on my QNAP 859Pro, without any backup but it's your choice to do so !!
Install here without any errrors.

And .......... verythink oke. :grin:

I am experiencing no issue when connecting the v3.3 nas to the tvix 6500 :grin:
