508 Mod Firmware

Can Mod Firmware for the 508 be used in the 500 ??

I ask this because I am interested in some of the combination mod features in the 508 files!!

Yes it can, but note thet the 2.8.0 firmware for the dp-508 is very buggy.
The bugs in dp-508 2.8.0 firmware are way to big to enjoy the player at the moment.

Which one you plan on using?
So i can tell you if it's worth it, or if there's an alternative without the bugs... :-)
