NTSC problems usign 2.7.4 firmware in aspect ratio in DP 450

Hi, I have a PAL player DP 450, and firmware 2.7.4 and a CRT video projector; when using PAL DVDs all is right, when using NTSC DVDs the auto selection converts them in PAL 60, and if I choose manually NTSC, the image is squeezed even if the DVD is 4:3, so if I see a 4:3 NTSC DVD I have it queezed as it it was 16:9 and yhere's no way of changing the aspect ratio, nor form the projector. Does the 2.8 firmware (modded also ) correct this problem?

I can't tell for sure but the 2.8.0 firmware does improve alot of things on the DP-450. I would try this firmware anyway and see if it changes the problems you have.

The problem might be on the projector and not on the KiSS as well.
I never used NTSC dvd's or a projector in combination with the KiSS so this is nearly just a little thinking loud...

Hope someone has experience with this and can offer more help then me but as i said, 2.8.0 is a big improvement. Try it.

You can always downgrade if it does not make you happy! 8)
