Good day to all.
There is a relatively new firmware available on the Promise site for the NS4600. The site says it came out the 26th of November, but I found it a few days ago. It is V02.01.0000.16 and they call it SR2 firmware. According to Promise "this version solves couple of problems in the previous versions".
I did install it on my NS4600 and so far the only improvement I noticed, is that finally when you browse the NAS via DLNA it returns the video contents sorted alphabetically, previously they were listed in date order.
I hope there are more improvements, but I haven't found them yet.
Give it a try, it seems very stable.
