how to shutdowm you qnap nas using ssh android?

Hi,

I have found the following app to work.

app called: connectbot from the android market (free)

setup a login i.e. admin@192.168.*.***

port 22 if needed

then enter you password for you nas

then once logged in type the following command poweroff -d 5 (case sensitive)

i'm going to see if i can find a quicker a simpler/easier solution

OR

you can also download app called telnet (free)

port 22
ssh

ip address
username
password

then the same command as above.

you should be able to do the same with iphone using ssh app.
