I just bought an IMac. I hate iTunes. I refuse to use it.

What I loved about Windows was how I could organize my music in any way I wanted and then play it on Winamp, making playlists and viewing the album art.

I downloaded Clementine which seems okay, but has a couple major problems. The Library insists on organizing my music in its own way. My external HD has about 1TB of music with very extensive info and divisions by genre. Example, my Africa folder contains 22 sub-genres of African music, but Clementine just throws all my stuff together in the Library alphabetically. I want the original folders to appear in the sidebar.

This is a great source of unhappiness to me. I am a serious music enthusiast and collector who takes great pains to give every attention to detail when it comes to organization of albums and artists. BMy taste in music is extensive and rather obscure. For this reason I do not require a player that connects to the Internet giving me music suggestions or band info or to tell me what's hot. I simply want a player that can do the following:

1. Not mess with my pre-organized music and folders.
2. Not pull an iTunes and force my collection to be duplicated on the system because it's too big.
3. Display album art in as big and as many ways as possible.
4. It must be for a Mac

Also, I am interested in any programs that simply organize music similar to Windows, those that display album art with the albums, etc. It is not necessary for my media player to be a player AND a library in one. I would be content having a nice organizer program and a simple player akin to Winamp.

I'd pay if the program met those standards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
