Tunein (Radiotime)

Hi,

I really like the Tunein service (previously Radiotime), I use it on PC and smartphone...

But unfortunately, the Dune built-in app don't support account presets...

This site: http://ce.radiotime.com/ was made for media players and connected TV, but it's not compatible with Dune...

Anyone know a alternative app for Tunein that support account presets?

Response from HDI:
Hello! At the moment we have no plans to develop applications for Tunein. But because we provide an open API for a description of our products, third-party developers can write plug-in for this service. Maybe we'll do in the future, such an application, but now it is impossible to determine the period of time.

How'd you get in touch with a HDI developer??

EDIT: I just e-mailed the TuneIn sales department to ask if they would consider developing their own plugin. They don't seem to offer a public API so it's up to them whether there will ever be a TuneIn plugin or not.

This is the response that I got asking whether they would consider writing a plugin for the Dune HD hardware platform. Seems like it's a dead end to me, neither sides will write a plugin.

Yes... HDI and Tunein purposes their API for devs... We just need a dev to build somethin... lol

Maybe you can use these quotes in your support ticket to pressure them to develop a TuneIn plugin. They already have the partner ID, all they need to do is write the code.
