Kiss and Release Dates/News

Anybody else find it strange that kiss doesn't post on there webpage the release dates of their players. They annonce them, but never state or post news once the player has been released (avaliable in shops). For example the DP-1000 came out about a week ago, when it should have come out around 3 weeks ago, but kiss didn't mentioned a delay or even that they are now finally availiable.

I just find it a bit wierd?

As we know Kiss the communication with customers or potential customes is currently very bad. They have to cope with other brands of players getting good attention since they have learned from Kiss mistakes...

Never the less, Kiss will manage to keep a bride part of the market with many different models.

The DP-508 should become available around Christmas (huh) and the DP-558 should become available around the end of Februari 2004.

At least, that's the latest word out...
I wrote a letter to Kiss about products but never had an answer.
I'm trying to get thru shops now (a personal friend) to see which release dates are realy to be expected.

Here in DK (and on the internet) the DP-508 *is* out and available (has been for quite some time). As for the DP-558 the latest on the release date is late December or early January (I'd bet on the latter :wink: ). This info is from the Kiss sales ppl.

Made an error in my post...
558 is for end of this year and 588 is for Feb 2004...
Latest word out there...
