FIRMWARE 2.8.3 for kiss dp-450 ???

Hello I need an info:
do you know something new about the realease of the new 2.8.3 firmware for dp-450?
It's important to solve the incompatibility with toshiba 1802 drive and other bugs.

It will not be there for a while...
Probably within a month or two since the current version is good and the new players ship with a newer version supporting the drive.

Yes, but somehow that's was a message that got twisted.
It would only "add" support for the 1802 drive, no other things so hardly
a Firmware to release.

Initialy we also thought it would be released with the DP-508...

ok.....but kiss said me that the new kiss dp-1000 and 450 comes with the new 2.81 and 2.8.2...........why? but first of all why kiss doesn't release the newer firmware in theirr website?????

That's right.
The new players need to have 2.8.2 since that firmware supports the 1802 drive.
What's the use of releasing that firmware when you don't have 1802 drive and that's exactly the only change...?

If it would have different features, i would agree. 8)
